A new look for your home.. Make old new!
- With Noblessa© artificial leather you can easily and inexpensively enhance your furniture.
- All you need for this is a little bit of skill and tools.
- Then the transformation succeeds in a number of steps.
The artificial leather is not self-adhesive, it is processed by means of riveting / gluing
The synthetic leather is easy to process, clean and washable, is wear-resistant and durable.
Noblessa© artificial leather is used for upholstery and upholstery of chairs, sofas and/or headboards of beds.
The (and of course your..) creativity, knows no bounds..
Tools required : Stapler / Staples / Ruler / Stanley knife / Marker or pen
Preparation : Carefully remove the old fabric from the frame. Place the old fabric on the noblessa© Leatherette. Then cut the Leatherette to size. Keep this process generous.
1. First step : Place the chair seat on the Faux Leather. The edges should overhang equally. Staple each side in the middle to the bottom of the seat
2. Staple the artificial leather : Make sure that you pull the artificial leather tight and keep it under tension each time during processing.
Staple the sides to the bottom of the seat. Work from the center to the corners. Wait to staple the corners. Use as many staples as possible and staple the leatherette as well as possible
3. Cutting the Faux Leather : After the Faux Leather has been stapled on all four sides, cut off the overlapping leather at the corners, up to the staples.
4. Folding corners : Pull the Faux Leather tight and under tension around the corners, towards the bottom of the seat. Staple these parts under the seat.
5. Final step : Carefully and carefully cut off the overlapping leatherette in the corners, up to the staples.
Tips..
- When covering and upholstery with thick foam, such as the headboards of a bed, it is important...
- That you fold the artificial leather generously over and around the corners, pull it tight and then staple/secure it.
- Our advice is to use the artificial leather indoors, outdoors is possible but no guarantees are given.
- Good luck and have fun with this fun (relatively simple..) transformation.. Make old new!
For information regarding UV and light resistance, see features below.
- The artificial leather has good resistance to fading due to light and/or UV
- Test method according to DIN EN ISO 105-BO2, classification 5 → good resistance to light and/or UV
- Where 8 means very high light resistance and 1 means very low light resistance
- In general, every type of substance fades to a greater or lesser extent when exposed to direct and indirect light.
- Our experience is that the artificial leather retains its colour well in practice and when used indoors.
